Changes In The Modes Of Nhl 11 League

The nhl 11 league is another winning release from EA Sports. Players are getting spoiled by the continued improvements; but, they will still look for an improved version by next year. This is what they have come to expect from the NHL series. The North American cover features Jonathan Toews, captain of the Chicago Blackhawks, the Stanley Cup winning and the recipient of the 2010 Conn Smythe Trophy.

The hallmark of sports video games by EA Sports is continued evolution and NHL 11 continues this tradition. Generally, the changes make for a more realistic and dynamic game. There are changes in some modes and there is a new mode. There is also the first inclusion of the Canadian Hockey League. The game can be played on Xbox 360 and PS 3.

NHL 11 can be played in the same game modes of NHL 10, plus a new Ultimate Team mode. The Ultimate Team mode is a new online mode where players use packs of virtual hockey cards to fill their team roster. There are some 4,000 players in 10 different leagues to collect and use. Here, you may assemble your own team from scratch and compete against other users online to determine the best team each month. While modes carried over from NHL 10 have not basically changed, the Be a Pro and Be a GM modes have been improved.

All the assembled teams will be part of the EA Ultimate Hockey League. A virtual season of 30 days will test players and their teams. Teams will be ranked for playoff brackets and births through single matches and tournament play. Players who do well in the post-season are rewarded with banners and logos. In the off season, all players will get a Free Agent Pack and a Draft Pack. Chemistry plays an important role in the Ultimate Team mode. Players who play together in real will play better together. The combination of player types, and if the player is at their natural position, also impacts the chemistry element. Over 200 game play changes make this game, a more authentic feel. The new real-time physics engine is the biggest change. It makes every match more realistic and unpredictable. It replaces the old animation system. The unpredictability of real games is more realized in its virtual version. The new faceoff system further enhances realism that makes this version a greater delight to play. The first appearance of the Canadian Hockey League in this series adds more depth and diversity. Adding this most prestigious grouping of junior hockey is a coup for EA Sports. The members are the Western Hockey, the Ontario Hockey and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey leagues. The number of playable teams rises by 60 with this new addition. Players will now play for the Memorial Cup they compete for. The Canadians hope to raise popular awareness of junior hockey with its appearance in the virtual sphere. The inclusion of player names from this league should help bring greater awareness of junior hockey and the role it plays in enriching the professional rank.

The NHL series is already the best-selling virtual hockey game. The inclusion of Canadian junior players will give fans an introduction to players on the verge of their potential draft into the NHL 11. The replay value of this title is certainly enhanced by the added presence of the Canadian junior league. With the presence of teams from some European leagues, the NHL and the AHL reveals the sport office hockey to be an international game. The gameplay enhancements, the different modes, teams and leagues give gamers many reasons to keep playing the game.
